Marion Fourcade and Kieran Healy: The Ordinal Society

I propose we, with about 5% of our activity, step out of 'the systems' into small quality persistent conversations, which are 'naturally' networking.

The existing systems do not work.

We do have plenty of good books, ideas, theories, thoughts, plays or such. We do have plenty of toots. Yet, these do not translate into solutions(?), progress(?), a better world(?).

Example:

A boost by @UlrikeHahn@fediscience.org of a toot by @kjhealy@mastodon.social : https://mastodon.social/@kjhealy/111245930660511961 .

The book by @kjhealy@mastodon.social and @marionfourcade@mastodon.social (??) : https://openlibrary.org/works/OL3853133 ... al_Society . The Ordinal Society by Marion Fourcade and Kieran Healy.

I want chains of small quality persistent conversations from the area where @kjhealy@mastodon.social @marionfourcade@mastodon.social write the book and @UlrikeHahn@fediscience.org reads it. (Did she?) To the area where people read only few books, if any. And I want some ideas, senteces, truths, shapes... In the people and in the conversations in the chains, to influence each other - so that, in methaphor, they travel along the chain.

In practical terms: I have my hands on the book. Is there anybody willing to read it?
